Back in town

I'm headed back to Charlotte after a crazy weekend in the Miami area on a long-planned vacation. (Side note: When I'm not in Charlotte, you can find me partying in Miami, D.C. or Atlanta.)

Hope everyone enjoyed their extra night of fun over the long weekend.

I'll be back on the Charlotte party scene Tuesday night.

In the meantime, I'm looking for cool Super Bowl parties in the QC. Know of a great Giants or Patriots bar? A place with killer TVs or juicy burgers? E-mail me or post a comment below.

Look for more party posts and pictures later this week, and don't forget to check out my first Paid to Party column online and in the Observer's E&T section Friday.

Did you swim in Miami on the beach or was it cold there? Did you have a top on while you swam just kidding. I go to D.C. when its warm and love it I go to Florida all the time I have family there but there is no place like MIAMI and its wildlife in nature and in the bars; I love the striking blue water and the brown tan you receive just walking into oblivion down the beach;

Most of my family lives in Florida WINTER HAVEN an unsuspecting town with nice common People and Deland near Daytona; People in Florida dont jump all over you like they do here ; They try to sell you a church, car or real estate here; They keep trying to sell the town to the outside but the People who are locals dont want them ,' go figure' When the time comes I miss the quick drive to an ocean and the fresh air that makes you feel good;

Face it Charlotte is a sleepy little town that People move into and regret; People try to be Washingtn D.C. in the WHOS who in the paper but im a shorts and tee shirt fella not a Tux and shiny shoes dude; Besides this isnt D.C. by a long shot . Charlotte is a town that was forgotten about when you pass through it from OHIO to Hilton Head , where the action is.

Once I got to stay at the DORAL in MIAMI for free and eat breakfast with GREG NORMAN ; He owns most of the shares in the DORAL as you know; Very tall man , very solid looking and distinct nose that sets him apart. The Doral had better food than most Hotels and we went to KEY LARGO to snorkel at John Pennenkamp reserve out in the ocean; If you ever get a chance to go to KEY LARGO to snorkel you wont be dissappointed with the sights.

Big Super Bowl party @ Uptown Cabaret this year! Free admission, free food, and obvious other benefits you wont find at any other Super Bowl party.

I didn't think anyone could be as vacuous, lame, and unessential as Tonya Jameson. I was wrong.

"juicy burgers"? Give me a break!

At least this empty-headed bimbo has no racial or political axe to grind.

How does a 26 yr-old writer for a newspaper afford that much travel?

Hey piehole,

Leave Sarah alone. I enjoy her a lot more than Tonya and she's got a helluva lot better picture at the top of her blog.
