A new website aims to make your social calendar search a little easier. Its motto? "Eat Cheap. Drink Cheap. Be Happy."
On Charlotte Happy Hour, partygoers can filter by date and neighborhood to find various bars and restaurants offering specials on the cheap.
Among the neighborhoods listed: South Park, UNCC, Elizabeth/Midwood, NoDa, Ballantyne, South End, Huntersville, Dilworth and Lake Norman.
Don't see your favorite special or bar on the list? There's a button to add them.

I seem to recall that "happy hours", at least for alcohol, are illegal in NC. Is this correct?
yes alcohol happy hour with a time limit is illegal but the sites lists daily specials which are good all day, even better! I think you can still have food specials, like 1/2 price apps 4-6 etc. Great site!!
You're right. Free drinks or reduced price drinks cannot be offered during limited hours. Drink specials must be offered from the time a business opens to the time it closes.
they should allow happy hours in nc thats stupid!
Great idea. Hope site owner keeps it up and bar managers participate.
