Marquee Saturdays

10 p.m. 820 Hamilton St. (inside the N.C. Music Factory) $10. www.haloclt.com.

Funny what a little name change and a new party can do for a club. Saturday night at Halo (formerly the Garden & Gun Club) has quickly become the hot spot a mere month after kicking off its new Marquee Saturdays promotion. What to expect: wall-to-wall people, a few celeb sightings (Julius Peppers made an appearance a couple of weeks ago), an elaborate light show and fun dance music from DJ 208.
