As expected, Pauly Shore was offensive, crude and, yes, funny, too.
I checked out his act at the Lake Norman Comedy Zone and genuinely enjoyed his humor, aside from the lewd language and hand gestures.
He didn't leave anyone out to be offended, whether it was women, whites, blacks, the physically disabled or Mike Huckabee.
He referred to Lake Norman as "the place where cougars live," and he wasn't talking about the wild cat.
And he was self-deprecating, too, making the bad "Son in Law" and "Encino Man" jokes before the audience could.
Well done, Pauly.
After his set, he made an appearance at Tilt on Trade uptown. The last time I saw him, he was surrounded by a pack of young girls in the VIP section the club rigged up for him. Pays to be 40 and famous, right Pauly?

Pauly Shore is a true child of Hollywood, going to Beverly Hills HS, and having a mom who owns The Comedy Store. This alone has made him a celebrity. He is not funny. He should join one of the reality shows on VH-1 except he's not fat, not an addict (that I know of)....I know! They can start a new show showcasing has-beens/never-was's and Pauly would fit right in.
Has been's a compliment. He's a never was.
Personally, I find him hilarious. He may be a little blunt for some folks but I'm not uptight and easily offended so I have always really enjoyed his sense of humor.
Funny how this "has been" or "never was" name is known by so many people. He had a few movies that made descent money and everybody loves the weasel.
You have a pretty thin skin if the Weasel is offensive to you.
Not offensive, just stupid and unoriginal. Pretty much a one trick pony.
Britney Spear's name is known by many as well, but that doesn't imply talent.
If you're edged 'cause I'm weazin all your grindage, just chill. 'Cause if I had the whole brady bunch thing happenin' at my pad, I'd go grind over there, so dont tax my gig so hard-core cruster...
