The Queen City kept it pretty tame last night for Mardi Gras. I guess all those bankers don't get too wild on a Tuesday.
I hit a few parties, including Dixie's Tavern, Tilt on Trade and The Pub at Gateway.
The rowdiest crowd of the night were the Mardi Crawl bar crawlers. I ran into organizer Mike Kaesik at The Pub, where his group was wearing joker's hats and matching T-shirts.
Tilt probably had the biggest party of the night. By 12:15, the place was packed and you could hardly get to the dance floor.
Below, some of my favorite photos from the night:
Yes, that guy in the middle is actually asleep.
What did YOU guys do for Mardi Gras?

Yesterday was Shrove Tuesday?
Seriously, Mardi Gras to me is a pretty artificial holiday. It once was more legitimate, as people who actually honor the traditions of Lent needed one last chance to party before they took on 40 days of repentance before Easter. But now it's just an excuse for people to party, like Cinco de Mayo or St. Patrick's Day.
I spent the evening following the appointment of Chipp Bailey as sheriff, watching the Super Tuesday election returns, and working around the house. Boring, I know, but a lot of us can't party until all hours on a Tuesday night. ;)
What your column needs is more pictures of you! Loved the video on the mech bull - good stuff.
I agree with the last poster - your hotness is underrated.
Oh my stars and garters! This is passing as journalism now? On the main page of a newspaper's website. Shoe is spinning in his grave.
Forget the journalism - let's stick to how hot Sarah is and what we can do to get some more pics of her online!
the bull riding video sets the women's movement back 100 years.
tonya never rode a mechanical bull.
I can think of at least three movements Tonya set back
Does your noise party with you? She is not hot.
